Armed attack on the currency exchange office was committed on Thursday in the center of Yerevan, the press service of the country’s investigative committee was reported.
“Several people broke on July 29 at the Issue of Credit and Exchange Currencies on Amiryan Street in Yerevan and, threatening in combat grenade, demanded money to them. Having met resistance, they turned to flight,” the SC.
It is noted that a criminal case was initiated under the articles “Robbery, perfect by a group of persons on a preliminary conspiracy with the use of weapons” and “illegal acquisition, sales, storage, transportation or wearing weapons, ammunition, explosives.” The maximum sanction on them provides for 10 years in prison.
“The mask of one of the attackers and combat pomegranate was found at the scene. It is made a number of persons, including the victims and witnesses. Experts are appointed,” said SK.
