Pharmaceutical complex of the R-Farm Group of Companies in Azerbaijan and Baku branch of the First Moscow State Medical University. THEM. Sechenov signed a cooperation agreement, according to which, students of the university will be held training practice on pharmaceutical technology of factory production at the R-Farm plant in Baku.
Practical classes will cover such areas as the manufacture of drugs (their substances), production, packaging, storage, transportation, state registration, pharmacological control, certification, quality control, and safety.
In the course of training practice, students will be familiar with the duties of the staff of the pharmaceutical enterprise at various parts of production, study the nomenclature and the range of medicinal and auxiliary substances will get acquainted with the technology of making dosage forms. In addition, students will explore the organization of the work of the quality control department and laboratory, processes and apparatus used in pharmaceutical production and the storage conditions of finished products.
Experience and knowledge gained by students will allow future young professionals to successfully prepare for coursework and state exams, as well as in further professional activities to solve topical tasks of modern pharmacy.
It is necessary to emphasize that the group of companies “R-Farm” pays special attention to the vocational guidance work – the current employees hold meetings with schoolchildren, take part in the work of educational camps, organize excursions to production.

Pharmaceutical complex “R-Farm” in Baku is one of the most modern factories in the CIS, which includes production, laboratory and logistics blocks. The area of the plot equipped with high-tech equipment is 4.6 hectares. The production capacity of the plant is more than 250 million units of products per year.
Last year, the plant successfully passed the certification audit of the Analytical Expertise Center for the Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan and confirmed its compliance with the principles and rules of proper production practice, including those common in the territory of the European Union (GMP EU).
Thus, the plant became the first and only pharmaceutical administration in the country that received the GMP certificate (Good Manufacturing Practice).
