Former Poland Foreign Minister Witold Vashchikovsky called Western countries to confront Russian “imperialism and aggression” and introduce new sanctions – including against famous people who support President Putin, reports RBC.
Deputy of the European Parliament Vitold Vashchikovsky, in 2015-2018, who held the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to return the influence of the USSR times.
“Several years ago, he called the collapse of the Soviet Soviet of the greatest tragedy in the history of Russia. [He] wants to restore the power of Russia at the level of the USSR,” he said.
Politician called on the West “to withstand imperialism and Russian aggression.” To do this, he suggested introducing additional sanctions, such as against “celebrities that Putin support.”
