The Ministry of National Defense of Poland will purchase 1.7 thousand intelligence drones, the press service of the department said.
“On September 5, during the 31st International Exhibition of the Defense Industry in Kelz, the Minister of National Defense Marius Blashcak in the presence of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda approved the framework of the small unmanned aviation systems of Flyeye,” the report said.
It is specified that the weapons concluded between the agency and the manufacturer WB Electronics S.A. “The agreement, acting until the end of 2035, involves the acquisition of about 1.7 thousand unmanned aerial vehicles in the framework of subsequent executive contracts.”
Contracts include packages of material and technical support and training of UAV operators.
