Polish parliament voted for vote of trust in government

Deputies of the Polish Sejm (lower house of parliament) of Poland voted for the vote of trust in the government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

248 parliamentarians spoke for the Votum of Trust, against – 201.

248 votes were cast for the government, against – 201 vote.

The cabinet of the Tusk supported the block of the civil coalition, the parties “Left” and “The Third Path”. Legislators voted against the former ruling party “Law and Justice” and the ultra -right association “Confederation”.

It is expected that on Wednesday, December 13, Polish President Andrzej Duda will take the oath of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and his government.

Earlier, the government of Mateusha Moravetsky did not receive a vote of confidence in parliament, the mandate to form a new cabinet switched to the stupid.

Donald Tusk served as Prime Minister of Poland from 2007 to 2014, then headed the European Council, which he led until 2019.
