Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky opposed negotiations with Russia in Ukrainian conflict. He also called Russia a “terrorist state.”
“Negotiations do not negotiate with terrorists. But Russia has now become a terrorist state,” Corriere Della Sera quotes his words.
Poland believes that the Ukrainian conflict is an existential threat to the country and all of Europe, Moravesky added. Almost a year after the outbreak of war, he explained, it became clear that it was “impossible to return to the state” to its beginning.
“If Russia wins it, all geopolitical analysis can be thrown away. Poland has not chosen its place on the map, but fully understands the responsibility that this provision entails,” the prime minister said.
Moravetsky also called the “victory over Russia” of the Polish and European issue “state considerations.”
