Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky said that the defeat of Ukraine would be a failure for the European Union and NATO. He made a corresponding statement at a press conference following the meeting of the heads of government of the seven European countries of the North Atlantic Alliance in The Hague, TASS reports.
“Where is the trust in us, if Ukraine loses? Can we imagine that Ukraine will lose and we will return to” Business as usual “? I hope not,” the Polish prime minister said.
In his opinion, such a scenario “will mean a complete failure and catastrophe for the EU, our values, NATO”.
The politician also believes that the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance must urgently put Kyiv more weapons.
“We did not and do not do quite a lot to protect Ukraine to support the Ukrainian people in protecting its freedom and sovereignty. Therefore, I urge you, I ask you to make more weapons, artillery to Ukraine. They need them. this, in order to protect his country, his territorial integrity, ”Moravetsky said.
