The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has a plan for military operations, the ultimate goal of which is not only the surrender of Kyiv, but also the establishment of a new world order. About this, according to the Russian BBC service, writes political scientist Tatyana Stanovaya in a column for The New York Times.
According to Stanovaya, Russian President Vladimir Putin pursues three goals at once.
The first goal is to control the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, as well as the land corridor in the Crimea. The second point of the plan is the surrender of Kyiv, the third is the construction of a new world order.
“At the end of May, Putin believed in victory in the long run, and since then he has a clear plan of action that goes far beyond the limits of Ukraine,” the publication says.
