Pope Francis called the missile shelling of a shopping center in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchug “Barbarian attack”. Pontiff said this, speaking on St. Peter’s Square on the occasion of the Apostles of Peter and Paul, Ukrinform reports.
“I wear an expensive and long -suffering Ukraine daily in my heart, which further is in poverty from barbaric attacks, like the one that happened with the shopping center in Kremenchug,” said the head of the Catholic Church.
He added that he was praying for this “crazy war to end as soon as possible.”
