The Pope Francis at the last minute canceled his participation in the procession, one of the main pre -passerful rituals in Rome to “save health”.
Cross, the traditional Catholic worship, which takes place on a passionate Friday near the walls of the Coliseum with the participation of a pontiff. This ritual recreates in the memory of Christians the main moments of the suffering of the cross of Jesus Christ.
“In order to maintain strength before all-night vigils and Easter Messa, the Pope will monitor the procession from the House of St. Martha in the Vatican,” the Pontica press service said.
