The population of the planet is facing a sharp drop in welfare by 10% in 2022. This will be caused by the global economic crisis that the war in Ukraine provoked. This was stated by Analysts of the Allianz insurance group on the official website.
The financial assets of households in nominal terms will be reduced by 2% for the first time since 2008. The war in Ukraine “strangled” the possibility of recovery for the global economy after the pandemic. Against this background, the tightening of monetary policy will lead to the fact that the welfare of households in 2022 will “suffer”.
The restoration will be very slow. The nominal growth of financial assets until 2025 will be only 4.6%. Real growth will be even less. Most stock markets in the world will also complete the year “in the red.”
