Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he was not going to hide from the “litigation”, which is imputed to him in his homeland.
Politico politico confirmed his plans to return to his homeland on January 17th. Poroshenko’s charges called Poroshenko’s address and promised to disprove them upon returning home. Ex-president added that he was not afraid of persecution and is ready to publicly answer all the claims from the authorities.
Earlier, the Pechersk Court of Kiev imposed an arrest on all the property and assets of the Chairman of the European Solidarity party and the former head of the state of Petro Poroshenko. Poroshenko is being suspected of the case of the state inspection. On December 17, the internal bureau of investigations said that Poroshenko ignored investigators who tried to give him a summons on the case of a criminal coal supply scheme from the occupied territories. On the same day, it became known that Poroshenko left the country’s limits. Later he clarified that he would return to Ukraine on January 17th.
