Former President of Ukraine and the leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko was suspicious in state treason. About this former secretary of the Ukrainian Council of National Security and Defense (National Security Service) and Head of the Central Staff Politsille Alexander Turchinov said during a briefing, Lenta reports.
According to Turchinov, Poroshenko was submitted to the suspicion of Poroshenko within the framework of the procurement of coal from the Donbass. He also recalled “Military exacerbation” in the region in 2014-2015 and noted that at that time the Ukrainian leadership could have been able to provide energy security of the country.
He added that the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktov did not sign the suspicion of Poroshenko and instead did this Deputy Prosecutor General Alexey Simonenko.
