Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia, Palad Bulbulogly, sent through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation a letter of a letter to the rector of the Moscow Humanitarian University Igor Ilyinsky. The reason is the statement of the head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of this University, the former factory of the Russian Foreign Ministry for Armenia Nikolai Platoshkin in the video interview with Bagramyan 26 telegram channel. In a letter, the rector said that in June 2020, a criminal case was instituted against Platoshkin by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation under part 1.1 of Article 212 (mass riots) and 207.1 (the distribution of knowingly false information to the public) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In accordance with the decision of the court under investigation or convicts, it is forbidden to engage in pedagogical activities. Platoshkin’s labor activity at the university has been suspended since his arrest. In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, Platoskin was removed from the post of head of the Department of International Relations and diplomacy of the Moscow Humanitarian University since October 14, 2021 and excluded from the university.
The rector emphasized that he is warmly referring to the Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people, and that for 29 years of work in this position he did not encounter cases of inciting interethnic growth at the university.
