The Russian military in the morning of July 14 fired on civilian facilities in Nikolaev, the mayor of the city Alexander Senkevich said. According to preliminary data, nine missiles were released according to Nikolaev.
As a result of the shelling, two educational institutions, a hotel and an object of transport infrastructure were damaged. According to Senkevich, the Nikolaev hotel in the city center fell under the shelling. Also, the shock wave was damaged by the shopping and entertainment center opposite.
According to preliminary data, as a result of shelling, one person was injured, there are no victims.
At the same time, in Vinnitsa (a city in the center of Ukraine, the administrative center of the Vinnitsa region and the Vinnitsa district) a series of powerful explosions thundered. Air alarm has been announced in the city.
Mayor Sergei Morgunov announced the “arrivals”: “In Vinnitsa, stay in shelters. Do not disseminate any information about the location and scale of the hit. Currently, emergency services have left for the place.”
Local media also report the sounds of explosions in the city, before that, residents noticed a rocket flight. A thick column of smoke is noticeable above the city.
