Powerful rains led to large-scale flooding in the federal land of the Saar, located in the south-west of Germany.
A large number of buildings in the region were evacuated due to floods and villages caused by bad weather in many regions. The city of Saarbryukken was especially affected – the administrative center of the Earth of the SAR and the same area.
The German Meteorological Bureau reported that approximately 100 liters of precipitation per square meter fell in the region per day
The message notes that the rains in the region will continue, but their intensity will begin to decline.
