Prabovo Subianto Officially Took Office

The new President of Indonesia Prabovo Subianto officially took office at the ceremony of the solemn inauguration in Jakarta.

The eighth president of Indonesia promised to “take into account the interests of the people and the country” during his stay at the highest state post.

The oath of Mibran Racabuming Cancer, the son of former president Joko Vidodo, whom Subianto appointed his deputy,

Subianto previously held the post of Minister of Defense, and Gibran – the mayor of Suracart.

The presidential election in Indonesia was held on February 14. After the vote count, the CEC of Indonesia reported that Subianto was enlisted by the support of 58.6 percent of voters.
