Georgian Prime Minister of Georgia and Armenia discussed the peace process in the region

During the visit to Yerevan, he met with a colleague from Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Georgia.

The parties discussed the issues of strategic cooperation between countries, the situation in the region and the course of the peace process. The agenda of the 14th meeting of the intergovernmental economic commission was also considered.

Georgian Prime Minister confirmed the readiness of his country to promote the dialogue between Yerevan and Baku. According to him, Georgia is also ready to contribute to the establishment of stability and peace in the region.

The parties emphasized that the meeting of the economic commission will create opportunities for expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries and more efficient use of the existing potential.

Kobahidze invited the Armenian prime minister to visit Georgia on an official visit.
