A severe humanitarian crisis in the gas sector left millions of people face to face with the consequences of the conflict.
This is President Chile Gabriel Borich said at the Summit of the Big Twenty leaders in the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
The head of state called for joint work to solve the problems of inequality, migration and food security around the world.
“The same applies to the conflict in the gas sector. We without hesitation confirm our position. A difficult humanitarian crisis that has a deep effect on us, left millions of people alone with the consequences of the conflict,” the president emphasized.
Borich said that countries should make more efforts in the fight against hunger and poverty. “If we want to reduce poverty in all its dimensions, there are common problems that need to be solved together. I have no doubt that if we act decisively, we can build a less unequal and more fair world,” said President Chile.
