Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was accepted by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
The meeting took place in the residence of Chankaya in Ankara and was held in the mode closed to the press.
The reception was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Meredov, on a visit to Turkey on August 13-14, will hold a meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister.
It is planned to discuss bilateral relations, cooperation in the field of energy and transport, current international and regional events, as well as issues of multilateral cooperation.
