Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on a visit to Budapest at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
At the Ferenc List International Airport, the head of state was met by the State Minor of Hungary for the EU Yanosh Boka, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Hungarian Ambassador to Ankara Viktor Matis and Turkish Ambassador to Budapest Gulshen Karanis Ekshioglu.
President Erdogan during the trip is accompanied by the head of the Foreign Ministry Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayractar, the Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Ashkyn Buck, the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatikh Kajyr, the Minister of Trade of Omer Bolat, the head of the department of relations under the Presidential Administration Fakhretin Altun, presidential adviser Akif Chagatai Kylych and other officials.
From the airport, the Turkish President went to a bilateral meeting with Hungarian President Viktor Orban.
As part of the visit, it is planned to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations between Ankara and Budapest.
The parties will also exchange views on regional and international topics.
In addition, the Turkish leader will take part in events on the occasion of the National Festival of Hungary of the Day of the Hungarian State and the World Athletics Championship in the country.
