The President of Turkey. Recrege Tayyip Erdogan, after the completion of negotiations in Ankara, held a joint press conference with the sultan of Oman Haytam Bin Tarik.
The President noted the positive dynamics of the development of economic relations between Turkey and Oman. He added that given the current potential at the first stage, the task was set to increase the volume of trade between Turkey and the Oman to $ 5 billion.
The head of the Turkish state affected the situation in the region. Erdogan emphasized that if the gas did not achieve an immediate, fair and strong ceasefire, the achievement of the regional and global world will be impossible.
Commenting on the last statement of the US President, he said that the statement of US President Biden on a new initiative to establish a ceasefire in gas is a very belated, but important step.
According to him, Türkiye without hesitation will do everything necessary to establish calm and peace in gas.
In the response word, Sultan Oman Bin Tarik thanked the president for a warm appointment. He expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of cooperation between Oman and Turkey.
Bin Tarik emphasized that Oman supports Turkey’s position on international issues relating to the region.
