During a telephone conversation, President Erdogan congratulated Zardari on the election of President Pakistan.
President Erdogan said that he was waiting for the development of relations between the two countries in all areas, and expressed the wish that the new era be favorable to Pakistan.
The head of the Turkish state condemned terrorist attacks in Pakistan during the general elections and said that Turkey would continue to support Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
