Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accepted on Saturday the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Rosen Zhelyazkov.
The meeting took place on the fields of the diplomatic forum in Antalya, the “global information partner” which is the Anadola agency.
According to the Directorate of Relations under the Administration of the President of Turkey, during the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Bulgaria, regional and global issues were discussed.
President Erdogan said that efforts aimed at diversification and deepening cooperation between Turkey and Bulgaria in many areas, including in the defense industry and energy, will continue.
The Turkish leader noted the importance of maintaining solidarity between Turkey and Bulgaria in the matter of the fight against terrorism, saying that in the coming period the corresponding steps are expected from Sofia.
