Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the chief adviser to the Provisional Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Muhammad Yunus.
During the conversation, floods in Bangladesh, bilateral relations between countries, as well as regional and global issues were discussed.
President Erdogan expressed his grief in connection with the flood and victims and expressed condolences to the Bangladesh people. The President said that Turkey, as always, supports the people of Bangladesh in the fight against the disaster and in healing the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted with satisfaction that Turkey and Bangladesh continue to develop cooperation in all areas, and wished that the elections organized by the Provisional Government were useful for the people of this country.
The head of the Turkish state wished Muhammad Yunus success in a new post.
