Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in honor of the 110th anniversary of Victory in the Battle of Chanackal, expressed his wishes for this date to bring a blessing for both Turkey and the peoples of fraternal countries.
Erdogan quoted the lines from the poem by Mehmet Akif Ersoy “Shehidam Chanackale” and noted that he would respect the heroes with respect.
“I wish that the 110th anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Chanackale to become a blessing for our country, our people and all fraternal peoples. As long as we are alive, we will revere our Shahids and pray for their souls,” said the President of Turkey.
