President Erdogan Met With President Of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko

During the meeting of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, the relations of Turkey and Belarus, the consequences of the war between Ukraine and Russia, regional and global issues.

According to the statement published by the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration, Erdogan held a meeting with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana, where he takes part in the 24th summit of the heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Belarus, the consequences of the war between Ukraine and Russia, regional and global issues were discussed.

Erdogan said that it was necessary to take steps in order to stop the continued war between Ukraine and Russia. According to the head of the Turkish state, he believes that the war can be stopped if a strong peaceful foundation is created.

President Erdogan also stated that Turkey will continue to make efforts to achieve peace and sincere contacts with both sides will continue in this direction.
