President Erdogan: Relations between Turkey and UAE reach level of strategic partnership

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that through a high -level strategic council mechanism, a stable regulation of relations between Turkey and the united Arab emirates (UAE) will be ensured at the highest level.

“We consider it useful to organize in the fall of the Trade and Investment Forum in Istanbul to submit an agreement on our business world,” the Turkish President said.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zaid al-Nakhayan took part in a meeting of the delegations of the two countries in the Al-Vatan Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Erdogan expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to visit Abu Dhabi and thanked Al-Nahayan for the hospitality provided to him and his delegations.

He noted that in Turkey they are satisfied with the development of close dialogue and cooperation with the UAE.

“With the signing of a joint memorandum of understanding the relations of the two countries, they reach the level of strategic partnership,” Erdogan emphasized.

According to the president, this cooperation will expand with the international exhibition of IDEF defense industry, which will be held in Istanbul on July 25-28. He also expressed satisfaction with an invitation as an “honorary guest” to an international book fair in Abu Dhabi.

As a result of negotiations between Turkey and the UAE, 13 agreements were signed in the field of investment, economics, industry, defense, law, judicial system, renewable energy sources and the space industry.
