Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with President Mali Assimi Goita.
According to the statement published by the Communications Department of the President of Turkey, during the conversation, bilateral relations between Turkey and Mali, cooperation in the fight against terrorism, regional and global issues were discussed.

President Erdogan said that Turkey intends to develop cooperation with Mali in all areas, especially in the field of healthcare, energy, agriculture, industry, technology, education and trade.
The head of the Turkish state also noted that Turkey will continue to support Mali in the fight against terrorism and in maintaining peace and stability in relations with its neighbors. According to him, Turkey expects specific steps to terminate Fetö in Mali and Extradition of members of the terrorist organization to Turkey.
