Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the acting President Iran Mohammed Mukhbir.
According to the written application of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration, Erdogan expressed his sorrow, condolences and wishes for patience in connection with the death of President Iran Ebrahim Raisi, Hussein Minister Amir Abdullahiyan and the delegation accompanying them as a result of the crash of a helicopter.
President Erdogan, said that Türkiye supports Iran on these difficult days and shares the sorrow of the Iranian people. The head of the Turkish state noted that Türkiye will fulfill the requests of the neighboring and fraternal Iran in the future.
The president emphasized that the contribution of Raisi and Abdullahiyan to the development of relations between Turkey and Iran will forever remain in memory.
