July 9-11 President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the United States of America, where he will take part in the summit of the heads of state and governments of NATO in Washington.
According to the statement published by the Communications Office of the Administration of the President of Turkey, at the summit, which coincides with the 75th anniversary of NATO, there will be an exchange of views on the efforts of the organization in the field of deterrence and defense in the face of challenges and risks for the geography of the alliance, as well as about the situation in Ukraine and the support of this country.
The summite agenda will also include steps taken by the Alliance in the fight against terrorism.
In relevant meetings, the leaders of NATO partners in the Asia -Pacific region – Australia, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand, the President of Ukraine and representatives of the European Union.
will take part in the relevant meetings.
As part of the summit, President Erdogan will hold bilateral meetings with the heads of state and governments of some participating countries.
