In Colombia, a vote began in the second round of the presidential election. As TASS reports, Senator Gustavo Petro and entrepreneur Rodolfo Ernandes claim to the Higher State post.
According to the results of the Invamer survey, published on June 12, 47% of respondents were ready to vote for Petro, advanced from the Left Coalition of the Historical Pact. Ernandes, representing his own political movement “League of Anti -Corruption rulers”, which did not enter the alliance with other parties, supported 48% of respondents.
After the announcement of the results of the first round, Ernandez’s support was expressed by the ex-candidate from the coalition of the right-wing parties Federico Gutierres, who took third place with 24% of the vote. According to the results of the vote, held on May 29, Petro supported 40.32% of voters, his main opponent – 28.15%.
