The Armed Forces of Belarus today have everything necessary to repulse any aggressor.
This is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko compatriots on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces, the press service of the head of state reports.
Lukashenko noted that this holiday is inextricably linked with the struggle of Belarusians for sovereignty and independence, for the right to live freely on their native land.
The most vivid features of the Belarusian people – courage, stamina and heroism – manifested themselves during the Great Patriotic War, the head of state believes.
“We carefully store the memory of this feat and in the year of the 80th anniversary of the liberation from the Nazi invaders- special words of gratitude to our dear veterans. We are proud of the defenders of the Fatherland of all generations,” the president emphasized.

Lukashenko expressed the conviction that the Armed Forces of Belarus today have everything necessary to repulse any aggressor, defend peace and consent on Belarusian land.
And the system of territorial defense and the people’s militia created in the country gives the defense of the Fatherland to truly nationwide nature, the politician emphasized.
The Head of State wished everyone health, happiness, prosperity and success in the service of the Fatherland.
