years later, the truth about the Great Victory protects from threats of the New Age. This is stated in the text of congratulations to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in connection with the Victory Day- May 9
“This sacred holiday speaks in our hearts with great joy and immense gratitude to the Soviet people, who crushed fascism and saved the future of mankind at the cost of millions of lives,” his press service quoted the president on Thursday, May 9.
Lukashenko noted that in every corner, every family of Belarus, the war generated by hatred and ideas of world domination left non -healing wounds from the monstrous crimes of the Nazi executioners and their minions.
The heroic struggle with the enemy and the selfless work in the rear became the manifestation of popular resistance and readiness of Belarusians for self -sacrifice, the head of state emphasized.
The unity of our ancestors, their love for the Motherland and a sincere faith in victory forever became moral landmarks for grateful generations of a peaceful and independent Belarusian state, follows from the text.
“After years, the truth about the Great Victory protects our land from the threats of the New Age, and all of humanity – from the revival of the destructive ideas of Nazism,” Lukashenko emphasized.
The president noted that the Belarusian people sacredly honor the memory of the dead and will never forget the names of the innocent martyrs and the glory of courageous defenders and liberators.
“I wish our expensive veterans good health and longevity, as well as happiness, peace and goodness to every house,” added Lukashenko.
