Kazakhstan President Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev signed a decree of October 15, 2024 “On signing a protocol on the agreement on the procedure for the formation and execution of the budget of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of December 1, 2017”.
“Approve the attached draft protocol on amending the agreement on the procedure for the formation and execution of the budget of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of December 1, 2017,” the document says.
In particular, the share of Kazakhstan to the budget of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will be 15.2%.
The document provides for the size of shared contributions and other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhasu Bektenov was instructed to sign a protocol on behalf of the republic, allowing to make changes and additions that are not a fundamental nature.
The decree is enacted from the day of its signing.
