President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov on Thursday, February 13, met with deputies of the Great National Assembly (Parliament) of Turkey, members of the Inter -Parliamentary Friendship Group Kyrgyzstan, the chairman of which is Yusuf Beyazyt. This was reported by the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties discussed issues of strategic cooperation, strengthening inter-parliamentary relations, as well as the further development of bilateral relations in political, economic, economic, humanitarian, military-technical and other areas.
The head of state emphasized that Kyrgyzstan considers Turkey as a fraternal country and a reliable partner and attaches special importance to warm traditional connections between the two countries.
“There are no political disagreements between our countries, on the contrary, there is a huge unsolved potential of bilateral interaction, which is of mutual interest,” the head of state noted.

President Sadyr Zhaparov recalled that within the framework of the state visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan, which held in November 2024, a number of agreements and memorandums aimed at strengthening Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation.
In order to practical implementation of the achieved agreements, the head of state emphasized the need to accelerate the procedures for ratification of these documents.
The President also noted the positive dynamics of inter -parliamentary interaction within the framework of the parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic states and called for the efforts of the parties to further deepen cooperation in a multilateral format.
In turn, the chairman of the Inter -Parliamentary Friendship Group Kyrgyzstan – Turkey, the deputy of the Great National Assembly of Turkey Yusuf Beyazit noted the importance of developing inter -parliamentary cooperation and emphasized that Turkey has highly appreciates fraternal relations with Kyrgyzstan.
He expressed the readiness of the Turkish side to actively promote the implementation of joint projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral interaction in various fields, including inter -parliamentary format.
