The summit of the future is a unique platform that will laid the basis for new global architecture, which will work for everyone, and not just for the elect.
This was stated by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov at the Summit of the Future, organized as part of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to the president, today the world community is faced with many challenges: an increase in the number of forced migrants, an increase in climatic threats, an unfair distribution of resources and wealth.
“The successes we have achieved often do not reach the most vulnerable layers of society. We need new approaches to multilateral management, based on justice. That’s why we need to start decisive action as soon as possible – we do not have time to wait,” he added .
Therefore, the summit of the future is considered an important platform for rethinking global relations, says Zhaparov.
according to him, the decisions that will be made now will determine the fate of more than one generation.
“Remember, the future is not an abstract concept, this is our collective responsibility. This is what we inherited to our children, grandchildren and everyone who comes after us. The world we are creating today will become a source of their hopes and Dreams, ”the head of state said.
Zhaparov focused on the fact that the efforts of the world community and international financial institutions must be concentrated on the support of developing countries.
