Romania remains the main supporter of Moldova and its most important trading partner. About this, Moldova President Maya Sandu on Tuesday, on March 5, announced at a meeting with the Romanian colleague Claus Johannis in Bucharest, the press service of the head of the Moldovan state reports.
The interlocutors discussed important topics of the bilateral agenda, including safety in the region, economic cooperation, infrastructure projects that bring together citizens from both shores of the rod.

“Romania remains the main supporter of Moldova, our most important trading partner and anchor in the European Union, for which we are deeply grateful,” the President of Moldova said.
Earlier, Maya Sandu reported on the social network X that, as part of a visit to Bucharest, she will discuss the issues of bilateral and regional cooperation with the Romanian officials.
“We are looking forward to taking part in the Congress of the European People’s Party and chat with friends and partners from all over Europe,” the president wrote.
