President of Moldova will be awarded Timishoara Prize for European Values

Moldova President Maya Sandu on January 12-13 will visit Timishoara (Romania) at the invitation of the primar of Dominic Fritz, the press service of the head of state reports.

During the visit of Sandu, the Timisoar for European Values ​​will take part in the solemn presentation of the Timishoar Prize.

Maya Sandu is the first laureate of this award, established by the municipality of Timishara in 2023. The award is awarded to international persons who decisively, boldly and creatively promote or protect European values ​​inside and outside the European Union.

On Friday, January 12, the president will meet with the Moldavian community, which has settled in Timishoare.

And the next day the head of state will be accepted by the keeper of the Romanian crown of Margaret and Prince Radu in the Royal Castle in the Sevorshin.
