Türkiye is a country with the greatest power and the role in the Balkans. This was stated by President of Serbia Alexander Vuchich at a joint press conference with Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Belgrade.
The head of the Serbian state noted that this is why Belgrade expects the support of Ankara in the processes of establishing peace and stability.
“We attach great importance to friendly relations with Turkey. This is important both at the political, economic and Eurasian levels, and on a global scale,” said Vucich.
The Serbian leader emphasized that President Erdogan understands the problems in the Balkans very well and always adheres to the opinion that the dialogue is the only solution of disagreement.
Vuchich also touched on changes in Turkey after President Erdogan came to power.
“See how Turkey looked before Erdogan. He changed the appearance of his country. Today, Turkey is one of the most modern countries in the world,” he added.
