Relations with Russia are experiencing cooling against the backdrop of Ukrainian conflict, said Switzerland President Injacio Kassis.
According to him, it is now unlikely that Moscow will turn to the country for help in resolving the conflict, writes NZZ am SONNTAG.
“It should be expected that Russia will question the neutrality of Switzerland and that the diplomatic relations of our countries will be cooled,” said Cassis.
He added that the Swiss authorities “moderately reacted” to the war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
Earlier, Switzerland has imposed new sanctions against Russia, which include an embargo for oil products.
