President Of Turkmenistan Signed Decree On Pardon Of 321 Convicts

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the pardon of 321 convicted citizen of the country serving a sentence in places of imprisonment. This was reported by the state news agency “Turkmenistan Today” (TDH).

During the meeting, Secretary of the State Council of Security, Chairman of the Commission for Preparation of Citizenship and Praisimation under the President of Turkmenistan, B. Gundogdyev presented a report on the results of the work of the Commission to have a pardon of convicts in honor of the Holy Festival Gadyr Gijes (Night of the Almighty), which occupies a special place during the month of sacred for Muslims of the month Ramazan.

Having heard the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, following the tradition, signed a decree on the pardon of 321 convicted citizen of the country.

The head of state instructed the chairman of the commission together with the heads of law enforcement agencies to carry out the necessary work to liberate convicts from the places of imprisonment and return them in the near future to their families.
