President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Sholts examined the drones with a smart component and talked with representatives of manufacturers.
The head of the Ukrainian state reported this in his telegram channel on Monday, December 2.
“Air and terrestrial drones, FPV drones, control systems. The weapons that helps our defenders. And it is very important that Ukraine produces such weapons in cooperation with Germany,” the Ukrainian leader wrote.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone who is involved in this work. “Thank Germany for such an important support for our defense potential,” the president said.
In the previous publication, the head of the Ukrainian state said that together with Sholtsa visited the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers, wounded in battles against the Russian army.
The head of state attracted attention to the fact that this is the first two -way visit of the German Chancellor in more than two years.
“We are grateful to Germany for all support. Germany is a leader in Europe for the rendered Ukraine, which helps us defend ourselves from Russian aggression and terror,” Zelensky said.
Everything is done in order to restore a fair world for Ukraine as soon as possible, which means that the security of all of Europe, the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
Earlier, Zelensky and Scholts honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian heroes laid flowers to the National memory memorial on the Maidan of Independence.
“Together with Chancellor Olaf Sholz, the memory of all our warriors, whose lives were taken away by Russian aggression. Bright memory to all Ukrainians and Ukrainians, all our heroes who died from the criminal actions of Russia,” the Zelensky reported in the telegram channel .
