President of Ukraine Volodimir Zelensky proposed the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) to approve the extension of martial law and universal mobilization for 90 days.
The head of state submitted to the Verkhovna Rada bills providing for the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days – until February 7, 2025.
Thus, this can already become the 13th extension of martial law and mobilization since the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022.
The last extension of martial law and mobilization occurred in the summer – in early August, Zelensky signed the relevant laws. According to them, martial law and general mobilization are valid until November 9th.
