“The Kyrgyz Republic made the awarding the award. The highest award of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was awarded for their contribution to the development of the CIS, strengthen friendship, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation between the participants in the Commonwealth,” the report will be said
In Bishkek on October 13, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS was held, according to its results, 17 documents were adopted. The list is published on the Kremlin website.
In particular, an agreement was signed at the summit on the establishment of an international organization in the Russian language. In addition, four statements were signed – on international relations in the multipolar world, about cooperation in the field of digitalization in public administration, about the protection of human and citizen to freedom of religion and the support and promotion of the Russian language as the language of interethnic communication.
The list also includes decisions on the chairman in the CIS in 2024 (this post will move from Kyrgyzstan to Russia), on holding the next meeting (it is scheduled for October 8, 2024 in Moscow), as well as the decision to declare Samarkand the cultural capital of the Commonwealth in 2024.
Separate points in the list include decisions on the award of the President of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev by the Honorary sign of the CIS and on the establishment of the medal “For contribution to strengthening the world”.
