President Of Uzbekistan Pardoned 483 People In Connection With Day Of Constitution Of Country

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in connection with the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic, pardoned 483 people.

According to the press service of the Uzbek leader, Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On the pardon of a group of persons serving a sentence of a sentence who sincerely repented on a reinforced and firmly embarking on the correction path”.

“by decree in connection with the 32nd anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in accordance with paragraph 23 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 483 persons were pardoned, serving the sentence of a crime, but already sincerely repented of the deed and firmly stood up at The path of correction, ”the report said.

It is noted that of the pardoned 107 persons are completely exempted from punishment, 275 – they are exempted from serving the sentence of a parole, the punishment imposed in relation to 7 persons is replaced by a softer. In addition, the sentences of punishment in the form of imprisonment appointed against 94 persons are reduced.

Among pardoned – 25 citizens of foreign states, 32 women, 5 men over 60 years old, 274 – under the age of 30 (of which 104 minors), as well as 6 persons who participated in the activities of prohibited organizations.

The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted by parliament on December 8, 1992. This holiday is celebrated throughout Uzbekistan.
