Venezuela President Nicholas Maduro urged the United States not to intervene in the internal affairs of the country.
Turning to his supporters from the balcony of the Presidential Palace of Miraflores in the capital of Karakas, Maduro reacted to the words of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Maduro emphasized that Venezuela is a sovereign state and the will of the people is manifested in the elections.
“The USA claims that Venezuela has another president. US USA do not stick your nose in the internal affairs of Venezuela,” the president said.
Maduro also accused the United States of trying to repeat the script for Venezuela in Haiti and Ecuador.
“Almost 85 percent – immigrants from Colombia, Peru, Chile and Texas. We saw many revolutions, but have never seen criminals with such characteristics that would prepare such a large trap. These are gangs of a new generation. They want to turn Venezuela into Haiti and Ecuador covered by gangs, ”the leader of Venezuela emphasized.
The Head of State called on all the candidates who want to object to the elections declared by the National Electoral Council (CNE) to submit their protocols in CNE and the Supreme Court of Venezuela (TSJ).
According to him, the decisions that will be made by CNE and TSJ after studying the protocols will be decisive.
Maduro said that they will also introduce their own protocols to these institutions.
