President of Peru Dean Bolarta announced a state of emergency in the border regions of the country in connection with the migration crisis and an increase in crime.
The emergency mode is declared in the border zones in the Department of Tumbs, Pure, Kahamarka, Amasonas, Loreto, Madre-de-Dyos and TUS.
Bolouart noted that the measure will allow police operations to control abroad in order to ensure order.
The assistance of the police will provide armed forces.
