President TRSK: New Cyprus Meeting In An Informal Format Will Take Place At End Of July

President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRK) Ersin Tatars announced that the new Cyprus meeting in an informal format will be held at the end of July.

Tatars shared his opinion with representatives of the press after an informal meeting of the Cypriots under the auspices of the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Antoniu Gutherrisha in Geneva.

Some issues were considered. The UN Secretary General will appoint a special representative on these issues, and the leaders of the two countries will conduct a number of studies for their implementation. After that, at the end of July, a similar meeting will be held again (in 5+1 format). “

Ersin Tatars emphasized that the newly appointed personal representative will work on the issues that they discussed today. The parties will work on issues such as revising the state of cemeteries and solar energy, which will benefit both peoples of Cyprus.
