President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people for the support of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Zelensky spoke at a joint press conference organized after his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Presidential office of Dolmabahche.
“I would like to thank the president of Erdogan and the Turkish people for your support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, our entire people, Ukrainian children,” Zelensky said, emphasizing that Ukrainians are highly appreciated by this support.
Zelensky Ukraine continued with the words: “I am especially grateful to Mr. President for the salvation of our citizens from Russian captivity. Thanks to the mediation of Turkey, we have achieved serious humanitarian results. We hope for further efforts,” he said.
Having stated that President Erdogan always recognized and expressed the territorial integrity of Ukraine, especially the Crimea, which is part of Ukraine, and always defended the rights of the Crimean Tatars,
Zelensky said that they heard it today.
“I am grateful to President Erdogan for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine for not changing his opinion,” said President Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine expressed the hope that the support of Turkey of the territorial integrity of Ukraine will continue to continue.
